If there is one thing I’ve learned from BodyTalk sessions, it’s that the human body is miraculously wise.
See, a BodyTalk session consists of me, the practitioner, dialoguing with the innate intelligence of the patient. Like a surgeon, I get a rich and unique view of some of the subconscious aspects of the person lying in front of me. Unlike a surgeon, I don’t dive in, scalpel in hand. The BodyTalk process is respectful. It proceeds with questions like “What’s the priority problem?” “What here needs to be changed?”
As a consequence, I get to witness a beautiful unfolding of the true nature of the human body. I get to see the way that inherited belief systems can bog down the performance of a knee joint; I get to see how regenerating the tissue around a scar on the ankle can heal diabetes; I get to see how the myriad of bones, muscles, ligaments, emotions, nerves, and consciousness interact in a dance that is ten-fold more complex than what I was taught in anatomy and physiology class.
In short, I get a front row seat to your body’s symphony. The experience can be breath-taking.
