How My Approach is Different

Whether you go to a naturopath, a massage therapist, an allergist, or a reiki master, your treatment will likely be limited by a couple of key factors.

The first factor is that almost all health care decisions are made by guessing. Sometimes, it might be a blind guess made after seeing a glossy advertisement, and other times it might be an educated guess made by a doctor.

I’m familiar with “best guess medicine” because I am a doctor. And for years, I was forced to guess because if you were to see me as a patient, I may have treated your disease before, but I have never treated you before. You might be sick for entirely different reasons than the last person I saw with a similar health struggle.

Therefore you require, and I provide, an individualized solution.

The second factor is that to truly heal as a human being requires a holistic solution that reflects every aspect of your body, mind, and spirit. Your body is nourished by what you eat and drink, and is organized by your thoughts, your hormones, and your genetics. However, you would be dead in the water without your connection to spirit.

The spiritual connection to something greater than yourself is a vital part of your physiology. It literally enlivens you and is therefore a critical piece of your health. If you lose touch with that daily spiritual nourishment, physical disease arises both as a complication and as a path of healing.

My approach is holistic and individualized in that I take care to make sure that every level of your physiology is addressed. Every symptom is some combination of physical pathology, emotional distress, belief systems, and spiritual disconnect. My job is to help your body balance those factors so that your health is restored.
